Away from home

I'm freezing my butt off as I am writing on this. Not use to this weather (winter) and not liking being away from my gals which I miss them dreadfully All I can think of is to snuggle up in bed with the two of them and sleep for 10 or 12 hours :) I miss everything about them, about brushing their hair, their annoying whines and wants, their smell, their touch everything! My eldest refuse to talk to me on facetime, and starts calling me Ayah ayah, referring me to her dad. It went on for days. I was heartbroken :) BUT... other than the above, I managed to visit Chicago ( 4 hours drive) but it was worth it. It was a beautiful place. The scenery here in Toledo is also so beautiful and lovely.

A Malaysian in America

This trip marks my third trip to the States over 2 seasons. Winter and summer! What I see ( seasons aside) the people here in general are nice and friendly. But there are also a bunch who are hypocrites especially for those working in corporate America. They will tell you all the awesome stuffs but on the other hand back stab you till you bleed. Well I guess we will always have this people anywhere and everywhere, just have to learned to differentiate it and don't get burned. The good thing is I in general don't care what others think of me. I am happy just the way I am. If they have problem with that then it's their problem :) I have seen colleagues changing their accent just to gel in! (oh common !!) hahahaha I would laugh out loud coz its so funny :) Best advise is just be yourself. They need to know you the real you and not the American wannabe you. Food wise, I enjoyed different stuffs but nothing beats warm food at home. Signing off.. bye
