Our Past

We always hear adults telling us, your past will haunt u someday and made sure we behave ourself at all times. But did we listen? Obviously NOT! Its not cool to listen to adults, we need to be a rebel like James Dean. Well guess what, my past are still haunting me.

I never cared much in the past, do as i please, get mad, get crazy, and many more horrid stuff. There are some memories i wish i could get Papa Smurf to help me erase from my passage in this life, some people i can delete and they would vanish.

I can change my phone number, change where i stay, change my style and denied but i realize those incidents are a part of my past and i cant change that, all i can do now is learn and never let it repeat itself. I also realize if i own up to the past and recognize them as a lesson learnt rather than a nightmare, i am free and at ease.

The fact remains we should not put such weight on people's perception and acceptance. We need to accept one self (the good, the bad, the whole package). If they world has a concern, its not u with the problem, its them.

Cheer up and be happy, i always say :)

Saying sorry!

Do u remembered when was the last time u said "I'm sorry " n actually meant it? We say it so often like we say thank u or hello. But the meaning behind expressing those word do not have weight anymore, sadly. More often than not we say it to get off the hook n take no remorse on our actions or words.

I m sick of that word, I mean don't say it If u don't mean it. Well we are human and we are not made perfect, we have moods, we are capable to be jealous, hurtful. But each time we make a mistake or hurt someone we need to take some time to realize n analyze wat have done n what have made us do wat we just did. Action & reaction , figure wat trigger n how are we gonna prevent this in future. Then the next right thing to do is say u are sorry n apologize n seek for forgiveness!

Think about it!

Cheers,

Surprise!!

Date 09/13/2010

My Man surprised me with a gift that i was not expecting today. As i approached his place to pick him up for a drink i could see him smiling (he is so sweet when he smiles). So we exchange seats and was getting ourselves ready for the ride, he surprised me with a lovely yellow box with a ribbon on it.

I was so excited, and i open it, its a lovely gold ring he got me for my birthday. Its so sweet of him. Earlier the week he got a lovely scarf as well, so i was not expecting anything else. Dun get me wrong, its not about the content, its the thought of planning a surprise for some one u love, the effort, makes it wonderful.

Now the pressure is on, i need to start planning for one surprise for him too as his birthday is approaching in 3mths time :)

A packet of Nasi Lemak for Breakfast

This morning as usual, i was running late for work :), a daily affair that i am so use to, i saw a packet of banana leaf nasi lemak on my cubicle. It smells heavenly. I have been having protein shakes for breakfast for past 2 weeks, so it was simply exciting to have a different food.
The sweet gesture was a act of love from one of my colleague - Rosnah. She simply made me a happier person today. Made me feel important and mattered to her. But on the other hand, made me ponder the fact that i have neglected and have taken things for granted. It need not be a fancy buffet nor a fancy gift, but a simple gesture will go miles.
So i have decided, to remind myself not to take things for granted, be thankful for things to happen the way they happen and embrace LIFE.

Property Fair 2010

I have heard of property fairs in PISA before but i have not been there before. So jump to the invitation to follow the craze over lunch time with my colleagues. I have no plans or intention to invest in another property at this time, though i do plan to invest on a landed property in the next couple of years for my retirement age :)
I know what i wanted, my budget and location. But funny thing was when i got there while others were looking at all those mock up homes, my eyes was fixed on all the grocery bags those developers were giving away. My eyes prefix on one from Pinang Laguna - it has blue and white strips and big enough for a decent grocery shopping session :)

As we walk around the fair, i was kinda dissapointed coz i couldnt find the booth that was Pinang Laguna... but i did collected some other smaller bags from other developer. With no intention to give up, i build up my courage and ask the next person i saw holding the bag for the whereabout for the booth. Finally found it, walk to it and start pretending that i am interested to invest on the property, gave them my details until the person serving me is satisfied that i am interested .. LOL
Then she gave me the bag.. phew... that fealt good - Mission accomplish.

The moral of the story is dun give up and open ur mouth to seek for answers and u will be rewarded :)
